We are excited to announce that we will be offering Before Care Child Care Service along with continuing After Care Child Care Service. this year! Both Before Care and After Care will be offered to Pre-K through Third grade students attending Whispering Forest Elementary beginning Monday, August 14th, 2023 following the Smart Start Schedule. Before/After Care services will not be available for the Smart Start days.

Aftercare provides students with a snack/drink and a certified teacher to help with homework for grades K-3rd. After homework is completed and checked, students will engage in playtime activities with other students.

Days and Times of Before and Aftercare Services

Before Care opens at 6:00am when students are in school.

After Care is open ALL school days EXCEPT ½ days.

Aftercare begins at 3:31 pm and ends promptly at 6:00pm.

(Please refer to the STPSB District Calendar and your child’s school calendar for those dates.)

Rates and Fees

ALL students must pay a registration fee of $40.00. Registration forms can be found on the WFE webpage or the front office. You may register and send your child to before/aftercare the same day. Please be sure to send a note to your child’s teacher saying your child will be attending aftercare.

Before Care Rate: Weekly- $35.00 Monthly-$140.00

After Care Rate: Weekly-$55.00 Monthly-$220.00

Drop-in rate: (those not previously registered, not picked up in car line, etc.) $15.00 per day.

Payments can be made on the Payment Plus Account. We do not accept any cards or cash apps for payment.

The program’s salaries, supplies, snacks, and any other expenses are supported entirely by the program’s fees.

Please note: If your child is dropped off in before care or after care for any amount of time you will be charged.
